Britney Smallwood

Leadership Coach & Organizational Strategist

I help high-performing professionals strategically position themselves for advancement.

For over a decade, I’ve worked inside leadership environments observing how advancement decisions are actually made.

I’ve seen talented, high-performing professionals stay stuck — not because they lack skill, but because they lack strategic positioning.

That’s where I come in.

I help leaders strengthen their executive presence, clarify their influence, and align their communication with the level they’re ready to step into.

Because performance alone doesn’t secure promotion. Strategic visibility does.

My Story

For over 15 years, I’ve led high-performing teams in corporate environments, building a reputation for developing talent and helping others advance confidently into leadership.

From the outside, my career reflected success. Yet I still encountered resistance — pushback on promotions, hesitation around compensation, and moments where my impact was acknowledged but not fully rewarded.

That experience sharpened my understanding of something most professionals eventually learn:

Performance alone doesn’t guarantee advancement. I wasn’t lacking capability.  I was operating in environments that benefited from my performance – but weren’t aligned with my growth.

When I shifted my strategy — focusing on positioning, influence, and alignment rather than simply working harder — everything changed.

Advancement followed.

Compensation aligned.

Fulfillment followed.

That transformation became the foundation for The Elevation Accelerator — a strategic framework designed to help high-performing leaders advance with clarity, confidence, and positioning that aligns with their true value

My Values & Beliefs

Advancement should be strategic, not accidental.

Careers don’t elevate by chance. They move when positioning and performance align.

Visibility is a leadership skill.

If your boss can’t clearly articulate your value, advancement becomes unlikely — regardless of how strong your work is.

Confidence is built through clarity.

When you understand how advancement decisions are made, you communicate differently.

You don’t need permission. You need positioning

The right strategy changes the room — and how you’re perceived inside it.

My Approach

My approach is rooted in strategic transformation — not surface-level confidence building.

I work with high-performing individuals who are already capable, already delivering results, and already operating at a high level. What’s missing isn’t effort. It’s alignment and positioning.

Together, we clarify your leadership identity, strengthen your executive presence, and refine how you communicate your value in high-stakes environments.

This isn’t about becoming someone different.

It’s about becoming strategically visible.

When positioning aligns with performance, advancement follows.

And more importantly — so does fulfillment.
